What did I ever do to you?
Besides try to fall in love with you, and fail
You are unlovable
All thorns and rusty metal, piercing my skin
When I just wanted to put my arms around you
And hold you tight
Cutting my hands up
On all your snarky comments and put downs
Like shards of glass
When i just wanted to see what my hand in yours feels like
I saw too much good and kind in you
Through my rose colored sunny disposition
Where there was none to find
You really are an asshole
I was so blind
Now I see what everyone else told me they see
And I'm so sorry to have wasted my time
And my efforts on you
The nicest thing you ever did was leave me
All touching my face
And smiling
I hope you are alone and lonely
Living with your mother on her sunporch
And I hope she eventually kicks you out
So maybe you'll grow up
You are all 1996
Twenty years and you are still the same person you were then
So fucking boring
And I'm still laughing at your wallet chain
Good luck finding a girl
Who loves 1996 and death metal as much as you do
Who doesn't work so she can play PS4 all day and night
Who's a loser like you
For all the pain and frustration you bring
At least the sex was good
I just want my stuff back and to forget about you.

HELLO DOLL ~ You make some interesting comments in this HARD HITTING POEM ! 20 YEARS is a long time to be in a relationaship and I guess you know a lot about a GUY by then ~ the Good ~ Bad ~ Ugly. Your penultimate line raises a question about the importance of SEX in a relationship. "At least the sex was good." However it seems that if the man is boring and unaffectionate the "good sex" is not enough. I always like to satisfy my Lady and in return I like sex to be a memorable and positive experience but to form a lasting and loving relationship it is only one of several important factors. I'm still single and your poem has made me think. Thanks for caring and sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
enjoyed reading -last two lines made me smile- thanks for words
