CHILD

illia

My hands are tied

Im gaged and bound

I want to scream i want to shout

Cant make the words come out

Cant make a sound

Feeling helpless feeling vunerable

Anyone could shatter me in one move

Fragile and simple, i want to run, i want to fly

Im gaged, hands tied, just let me gi

No point holding me back

Tears are gone, im free inside

All the fears subside

Unbind my chains let me run let me go.

Im to far gone to back

All those befores all the yeaterdays

Are gone, no more, i refuse to hide

WELCOME NACTON ~ Thanks for a very powerful first poem, Well structured with lots of rhyme and rhythm which gives it flow. The title and the content suggest the necessary restrictions imposed on us when we are Children. It also hints that some of the restrictions don't disappear when we turn 18 but remain "against" all our life ! Like you I WANNA BE FREE ! Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN
