Lost in my Own Mind.

MarisaGreen16

I feel trapped

Like I'm on an elevator going the wrong way

And suddenly it stops half way and there Is no escape

From this unwelcoming place

The doormat reading " welcome to hell"

The people make the lounge an unshared space

Whilst Im locked away in a room of grey walls

Enveloped in darkness

Whilst wild emotions stab my back

And then they leave me alone at rockbottom of my thoughts to fend for myself

alone in my own mind

Which nobody would ever be able to understand

And that elevator seems to be slowly collapsing down

Thanks for sharing MARISA ~ Trapped halfway ~ between a rock and a hard place ~ that is how a lot of us feel ~ sometimes ! So your poem strikes a chord ! Unwelcome ~ unshared space ~ wild emotions ~ misunderstood ! Sometimes we think it can't get any worse and it does. Life is full of aftershocks and then the ground fall from beneath our feet. Thinkin' of you ~ BRIAN Please check my Poem ~ Ebony Girl ~ THANKS.
