Too Nice

Eeva

I do try to be nice to everybody,

Whether it's a kid, parent, or a grown up,

But sometimes their personality,

Is just way to much for me.

The thing is that I was nice,

And they think that I'm their friend,

And I really don't like them,

But their is absolutely no way out of this mess.

They keep coming back to me,

'Cause they think that we're friends,

When I really can't stand them,

Or talk to them even.

I want to let them go,

But it's hard for me to do so,

Because I have no friends of my own,

And they are the only ones.

Great poem EEVA but it rings true ! There is an element of humor ! I don't like the friends I've got ~ BUT ~ they are the only ones I've got ! I can see how this has developed. I too am an encourager and I always see the good in people and treat them in a "friendly" way. Because of this some of them put me on their "friend" list ~ phone me ~ invite me to BBQs and get upset if I don't invite them to mine. However my experience does not stop me from being over friendly ~ and don't you stop either ~ you are lovely ! Yours BRIAN ! Please check my Poem ~ EBONY GIRL ~ Thanks BRIAN
