L IGHT a CANDLE wherever you are

I ts light will shine both near and far 

G od gave us candles to shed His light

H elping to brighten each dark night

T hey may be small ~ but they all burn tall 

 

A ll over the World the light shines out ~ never doubt ! 

 

C ANDLES come in all shapes and sizes

A t Christmas time we give them as prizes

N o one despises the candles sweet glow ~ we

D erive great pleasure wherever we go

L ook to the left and look to the right

E njoy Heaven's glow in the CANDLE'S  LIGHT

 

Have you lit a Candle today to pray for someone in need ?

  • Comment from author about the poem: I have always loved candles and for me CANDLE LIGHT is always very sensuous and very spiritual. In CHURCH I always light a candle as a perpetual prayer for people in need. We have lots of candles at Christmas and always eat our Christmas Dinner in candlelight ! I often give ornate candles as Christmas presents ~ people love them but often say they are too beautiful to burn !
