MY LIGHTHOUSE

shadowhand

MY LIGHTHOUSE

MY CHILD, MY WIFE

MY LIGHTHOUSE BY THE SEA

OH HOW MUCH LITTLE TIME

I GET TO SPEND WITH THEE

THE HUGS AND KISSES

ONE LAST EMBRACE

WE HIDE OUR PAIN

WITH TEARS ON OUR FACE

AS THE SEAS OPEN UP

LAND FADES OUT OF SIGHT

I LONG FOR THE DAY

TO AGAIN SEE YOUR LIGHT

THE DEEP BLUE SEA

THE SUNSETS IN THE SKIES

DO NOT COMPENSATE

FOR THE SPARKLE IN YOUR EYES

THE NIGHT-NIGHT KISSES

YOUR TENDER TOUCH

THESE ARE THE THINGS

I MISS SO MUCH

THE MOON AT NIGHT

AND THE STARS AT SEA

WILL GUIDE ME BACK

TO WHERE I NEED TO BE

EACH DAY I WAIT

EVERY NIGHT I PRAY

TO SEE YOUR LIGHT

WHICH GUIDES MY WAY

AS TIME GOES ON

WEEKS IN THE PAST

ONCE AGAIN YOUR LIGHT

SPREADS ACROSS MY MAST

SOON I WILL BE HOME

AS WE LAY DOWN THE BROW

HOW I MADE IT WITHOUT YOU

I REALLY DON'T KNOW HOW

SO KEEP YOUR LIGHT SHINING

IN YOUR HEART JUST FOR ME

MY CHILD, MY WIFE

MY LIGHTHOUSE BY THE SEA
