Look closely lover, what do you see ?
Behind those brooding eyes lies me.
Beneath this skin I'm just like you ,
With hopes and dreams and passions too.
Peel back the layers if you've a care,
Expose my fragile depths - it's there!
Faltering and shy like a newborn foal.
Do you see me lover ? This shining soul.
