Hunger

elphaba993

The pain

The blood

The physicality of it

Wasn't enough to bring feeling back

But this incessant hunger

Finally set the wheels in motion

And emotion came rushing back

First a trickle,

Then a flood

And though

I know

Some will disapprove

I can't go back to that

Emptiness

There is redemption through he shedding of blood ! I know it gives you inner peace ELPHA. I love you but I am not with you to talk you through it. I'm a blood donor and I quickly recover when i donate one of my 8 pints for someone in need of a transfusion. It's not the loss of BLOOD that worries me ANGEL it is the likelihood of infection. If you died part of me would die too because you are a very very precious member of our lovely MPS Family. Please Please Please take care we all love you. Very nice poem. I wrote a poem under the same subject, however, it will be a long time before it appears on this site.
