Breath

EstherActs

Tiger let out, not in it's cage
Where did it go?
I can't answer you.
My voice isn't heard
Every breath; absurd
We don't need air
When we have violent stares
Nothing will let me down
Unless you even dare,
Which I wouldn't recommend
because my heart is not there.

Being happy, I believe it
Maybe it's just lies, I see it
I see right through you, not just cause I don't like you
Maybe cause my cries were drowned out by your screams and sighs
dagger eyes, nothing's worse than endless ties
Bringing you closer
to what you don't need
every breath; absurd
We don't need air
When we have violent stares
Won't you just let me down
So I can shatter the ground with a scream you can't hear
cause it's all in my head
and you are too.

WELCOME ESTHER (lovely name) Thanks for your first poem ~ it raps well ~ great genre for performance. I am a performance poet. The content is very powerful and an expression of the contrary relationships we all find ourselves
in. My favorite lines are "I see right through you ~ not just cause I don't like you ~ Maybe cause my cries ~ were drowned out by your screams and sighs" In full flow most Men never heed the cries of their Lady ~ shame ! Thanks for sahrin' great rap ~ more please ~ Yours BRIAN.
