Seasons Change

Ternic73

Pretty colors in the trees

Orange, yellow, browns and greens

So many colors that are seen

Such a beauty, I only see in my dreams

Falling leaves hit the ground

Floating freely, don’t make a sound

Breezes blow, through the trees

Pollen fly’s and makes you sneeze.

All the leaves on the ground, Winters next stop

Cold air constant as winds blow, temperatures drop

Black ice on the black top

Huge icicles hanging from homes

Igloo forts in the shape of domes

Snow melts seasons change again

Want to be warm, just waiting for weatherman to say when

Here comes Spring, animals wake from their sleep

Standing on the mountainside are the sheep

Seasons changing with color of the leaves

  • BRIAN & ANGELA

BEAUTIFUL POEM ANGEL ~ Every season has its beauty and its compensations and is essential in God's natural annual cycle ! In the UK & the US Autumn has a visual beauty (New England & the Aspens in Colorado) to compensate for the drop in temperature and pr prepare us psychologically for Winter and the treasures of the snow ~ which paints the drabness and blackness of the rural and urban landscape on pristine virginal whiteness ~ awesome.also there are lots of parties and festivities in Winter. Snowdrops begin to peep and we know Spring is here followed by the lazy ~ hazy ~ crazy days of Summer. I love our Planet and its ubiquitous Seasons ~ Thanks for reminding ~ Love BRIAN. Please check my latest poem ~ TOGETHERNESS ~ THANKS B.
