Water is essential, yet, in extreme mode, we may face a tsunami.

Air is essential, yet, in extreme mode, we may face hurricane or tornado.

Soil is essential, yet, in extreme mode, we may face an earthquake.

Fire is essential, yet, in extreme mode, it may burn us, animals and plants.

Sound is part of nature, yet, extremely high decibels of sound may harm you.

Light is part of nature, yet, extremely light waves may harm us.

 

Life is about dynamic balance.

Observe& learn from nature.

 

Adopt the Middle Way.

 

Life is the school of awareness.

        AIR ~ EARTH ~ FIRE ~ WATER were the elements of antiquity equating to the states of matter GAS ~ SOLID ~ LIQUID and fire to ENERGY. Sound and light are not matter but also energy ~ Love BRIAN

              I apologise for a second comment but my first was unfinished and jumped into published comment mode ! As far as WATER ~ AIR (21% oxygen 1% noble gasses 78% nitrogen and traces of CO2 etc ) and SOIL (a very complex mixture of inorganic and organic chemicals !) are concerned they form an integral part of very complex mineral cycles which maintain the equilibrium and dynamic balance of Planet Earth. Cycles of Water (H2O) ~ nitrogen ~ carbon ~ oxygen ~ potassium ~ phosphorus etc It is the disturbance and interference with these cycles and CO2 levels (which causes global warming) etc ~ BY INDUSTRIAL & TECHNOLOGIAL MAN ~ which puts life on our Precious Planet in danger ~ LEARN ~ ADOPT ~ BE AWARE ~ TODAY !
