Gazing

More Medic

I find enjoyment in discomfort,

Nervousness is second nature,

And pain is oft-felt.

My blood is filled with religion.

Gospel occupies mind and time,

But the only God I honor

Is that of imperfection.

A split second can bring much change.

We lock eyes,

Anxiety strikes,

And a foreign feeling floods my soul.

Lost in the moment;

Lost in your gaze.

The judgement drains from my body.

It drips from my fingers

And beads on my brow.
