Truths

katiepoo7447

Calm as the night,
Wild as the ocean waves.
Forceful fight,
But never caves.

Whispering trees,
Rustling wind.
Life never frees,
From a time well sinned.

WELCOME KATIE ~ Thanks for sharing a very beautiful first poem. Short bu busting with Rhyme Rhythm and Reason ! Life in the 21st C is very restless and dynamic ~ but also with small Oasis of calm. Rhyme make a poem easier to read and recite but the key factor is rhythm. I love your ultimate line ~ "From a time well sinned! ~ so frank ~ it is so true of all because we all sin and fall short of God's Glory, More please ~ Yours BRIAN (UK)
