conflicting path

a conflicting path

a yes and no

when will certainty visit?

when will he spend the night?

for now, i sit and wonder

whether i choose to wander

 

i'll spend forever tallying the pros and cons

as another opportunity slips away

away from my reach, and eventually, away from my mind

so i may as well bid you farewell, conflicting path

for the pros will never outweigh my fear

and my fear will never slip away...
