I will not be pacified

No matter your technique

I will not be ignored

I am not that weak

I will not be denied

No matter your facade

I will not listen

To how you preach like god

For you are not the one

Or what I choose to follow

Denying your wounding words

And the hate in which you wallow

Unchartered is this heart

Unbridled are these thoughts

I will not be taken hostage

Or held by binding knots

Binging on my soul

As if you are starving

But I will not be had

For your primal carving

No I will not bow down

Carnivorous your behavior

Nor you will I acknowledge

For you are not my savior

Clear thought that you are a force to be reckoned with. I'm 77 and was puzzled initially by the feminist movement, giving women more control over their lives. Gradually I began to understand. One day I will share a poem I wrote in the 70's about the change I was seeing. I feared women who wanted traditionally male jobs. Now I laugh at myself.

HI STEPH ~ LOVE YOUR PICTURE ! When i read all these stories about MEN on MPS it make me ashamed of my Gender. I love your defiance to the Man (or system) who is trying to manipulate you ~ who considers himself the Messiah ! I will not be ~ pacified ~ ignored ~ denied ~ listen ~ follow ~ swallow ~ wallow ~ bow down or taken hostage etc etc ! OK STEPH we get the Message and all the REAL MEN really love you for it. Fight the Good Fight and you will overcome Evil Men ! Love BRIAN.
