GOD IS MY PACE SETTER

BRIAN & ANGELA

GOD IS MY PACE SETTER ~ I shall not rush

He encourages me to stop for quiet intervals

He encourages me to visualise immages of stillness

This restore my serenity and my sanity

He guides me into ways of efficiency through calmness

Of mind and His guidence give me inner peace.

Even though my Employers and Society

Require me to accomplish many things each day

I will not fret for GOD's presence is with me !

God's timelessness and infinite Power & Glory

Keeps me balanced and restores my equilibrium.

He prepares refreshment and renewal in the midst of activity

He anoints my mind with his blessings of tranquility

My spirit of inner joyous energy ~ OVERFLOWS !

Surely harmony and effectiveness shall be the fruit of my labours

And I shall walk and work ~ with the Peace of the Lord

And in the end ~ I will dwell in Heaven for all Eternity ~ AMEN

This is loosely based on the Japanese version of

Psalm 23 by  TOKI MIYASHIRO

A few years back a friend lost his father shortly after mine had died. That inspired me to write " Our Fathers Are in Heaven." One day I may share it.

Tell me more about Japanese. Do you speak it? Recently I read something about Depression in overworked Japanese workers.

    • BRIAN & ANGELA

NO ! It is a very difficult but beautiful language' HAIKU in Japanese are a work of are visually ~ orally and linguistically. Yes the Japanese work ethic is very very punishing and stressful ! Hence this version of the 23rd PSALM ~ BRIAN
