My sorrow

moonlightdancers

Oh how I love thee, a love with the passion that only desire can complete. A desire that burns like the fire in my ever lasting existence. But can I have you so close to my breath? Does this drunken stupor speak just to my thoughts? There does this feeling pierce through the heart. Gentle is your sight on this rancid summer breeze. Your lips may touch my flesh and I shal forfit my heart. Oh does your beauty bring life to a dark soul. Can a hear stop beating by senseless passion? Does my company please thee? Blissful is the moon that kisses the cheek of my love before me. Madness is what consumes my self. Love will set me free. May I hold you you so close that thy  heart will beat at the same as my love? Bound we are together.

WELCOME MD ~ Thanks for an excellent Love Poem in Free Verse ~ I love the flow and the Elizabethan Language (thee ~ thy etc) almost Shakespearean ! You pledge your love and ask questions "Does my company please thee ?" and "I hold you so close that thy heart ~ will beat the same as my love ?" I hope and pray you get some answers ~ love can be elusive ! Thanks for sharing BRIAN.
