Could you but know the beating of my heart.

Could you feel what I do in every part

Of my body that aches for you.

I lie awake for you.

I think, talk, dream-walk for you.

With sounds of your voice,

Choices like paradise, heaven, open.

You have won my soul for a whole world

Taking on new meaning,

With each beating of my heart.
