Inside

ShadedSorrow

I have poisonous lips

And murderous eyes

My heart is like ice

My mind is full of lies

If you look at me

You won't ever see

The aching inside

Or the fear that I hide

The pain runs deep

Its dull and bittersweet

It burns like a raging fire

I can't take the heat.

Wow! such emotion packed into such few lines, very well done!

Sounds like you don't get invited out much and if I saw you coming down the street I would cross to the other side. Wow. And I have had the opportunity to meet that type of individual and have been surprised to find a real decent human being. Thanks for sharing. Nice and concise. Reads well.
