Stare

SarahLouise

Yes sometimes i use a wheelchair.

I will be pushed to the shops.

People walk past me.

Why do some people have to stare?

Staring doesn't make me feel good.

People shouldn't stare.

They wouldn't like being stared at.

To stare is not fair.

WELCOME SARAH ~ Love you picture ~ love your dress. Thanks for sharing you personal feelings ~ both brave and I guess also cathartic. What did you think about the UK Team in the PARALYMPICS ~ people did stare but only in awe and wonder about how well they performed. We have people in our extended Family with disabilities and people do stare. If the do I try to talk to them and introduce Arthur who is blind or Laura who has cerebral palsy or Vicky who is Downs etc. I find when they speak to and with a Disabled Person it makes them more empathetic and they smile instead of staring ! Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN
