What a World

What a world we live in. A beautiful world. A world that is in constant battle between good and evil. Right and wrong. Left and right. Truth and lies. Heaven and hell. God and Lucifer. Women and men. Rich and poor. Black and white. The list goes on and on. A world that was once run by the people and for the people. Only to be snatched by the mighty hand of the rich and powerful. They then set forth a motion to control the people. A system made to corrupt. A cycle conceived to destroy, belittle and dehumanize. They poisoned our food supply, our water supply, our knowledge supply (schools), our economic supply (jobs). They poisoned our nation. They turned us against each other. They gave us weapons to kill each other. They gave us drugs to break us down and deteriorate our minds. They gave us a justice system, made to work against us. They gave us a prison system made to enslave us. What are we left with? What are we supposed to do? What steps do we take to grow and prosper? What sort of life are we supposed to live? What is this world we live in?

  • Comment from author about the poem: the world is a beautiful place over all, however, as I mentioned there are a lot of things that go on in the world that gives us that constant game of tug-a-war between good and bad. That is what the poem is about, the good, the bad, and the ugly.

        Thanks for caring ANGEL ~ Planet Earth is a Living Planet unique in our GALAXY. God created it hat way and gave Man responsibility to care for it ~ we have done a bad job. It is polluted (air ~ land ~ sea) and the Human Race instead of cooperating and sharing is at WAR with itself ~ idiotic ! Becasue I am a CHRISTIAN ~ I see things from GOD's point of view. The Bible teaches that Man's existence on Earth is Limited and on day there will be a New Heaven and New Earth. These will be the habitation of all TRUE BELIEVERS ! Because I know I have a place in Heaven for Eternity with Jesus it makes what is happening on Earth (because of Sin & Satan) more bearable ~ OK. Thanks for sharing ~ Yours BRIAN.
