Missing ("U")

jemina

Sometimes one has to plan to say a word

Its that difficult, and you might need a prod

But saying that, its just a word not a sword

Its a shame the "w" is gone from sword

Oh well Warwick's missing one as well

Defeats the purpose- these missing words

Ellipses maybe, missing letters in hordes

Wondering if its same across all boards

But to have your legs pulled, you cant afford

So save one, miss the "s" and its singular

To preserve the banter among Lords

Sacrifice you must, leave sense abroad

Im told its misconstrued, maybe too broad?

Still senses quickened, and senses blurred

Racy admixture for wantings yet uncured

Beg that all words, letters missing and lost

Be stirred, awakened, kissed  back to Life

GOOD AFTERNOON JEMINA ~ CTB ~ Great train journey ~ time for your muse to move. There are lots of things missing in the 21st C especially letters in texting " W is a great letter but to often silent ! Like H ! SWARD which is "a stretch of grass" has retained her "W" whereas SWORD has not ~ why ? S (as you say) is an important letter because it multiplies AN EGG to EGGS (a dozen or more ?) Letters (and Lovers !) do need to be kissed back to life. Up North we would say ME OUSE ~ but it is more of AN OME ! Love the concept of MISSING "U" ! Thanks for caring BRIAN
