Chill Pill

jemina

So today I thought ld take a chance
You know let my guard down not wallow
Sleep on the train, end up in Penzance
Wear my jeans without a top to follow

Yesterday I was the cautious one
Yesterday I could not laugh
Well not with abandon
I wanted it all perfect

So today ld like to take a chance
With a cloud as my skateboard
Sink into the sky's embrace
Ride and fly, make my heart race
Yesterday I had a serious pose
Yesterday I could not laugh
Well not with abandon
Awaiting the kiss of a rose

So today I thought ld take a chance
You know let my guard down, swallow
Sleep off on the train, end up in Penzance
Wear my jeans without a top to follow
Its working, lm twirling, spinning, dancing     Yayyyyyy   CTB 13.11.2015

WOW JEM ~ This is awesome and from a cool MD as well ! I'm not sure how to interpret "Jeans without a top to follow !" No wonder you are twirling ~ spinning ~ dancing ! It reminds me of a Missionary Meeting I attended when I was 14. He was working in one of the Pacific Islands. The Ladies in our Church all had to wear HATS. He showed a slide of the Ladies Meeting on the Island . They all wore big hats but they were all TOPLESS ! 20 of the Men in the Meeting volunteered for Missionary Service ~ c'est la vie ! PENZANCE a great destination ~ nice beach ! Love the poem ! Love BRIAN

hehe...@ c'est la vie (nice) !!! was trying to capture a feeling at the time.. yeah I look back at that poem and wonder too... hats and no tops must be the greatest oxymoron iv encountered especially in the context you describe hehehe.. musta been a sight to behold.. 😀 ;_D

Well JEM it was very amusing at the time ~ nobody laughed I think the very prim ladies were pleased when the Missionary moved on. The ELDERS on the Island all had ORANGE HAIR (like punks) but fortunately not BAMBOO phallus pouches which would have curdled the milk. It is all a question of different International Customs & Norms. A lot of Girls at College are annoyed because the Boys can sunbathe topless but not the Girls. Bikini bottoms are also frowned on. I love poems which capture feelings rather than facts ! Thanks Love BRIAN :o)
