Excited at the chance to grow and learn
Quickly shot down, when apply for a turn
Why do you want to do this they ask?
Because I feel like I am up for the task.
Work so hard to better myself
Made to feel like dirt of the floor
What just happened? I am not sure
Wait and see I guess,
Im definitely not holding my breath
Fight so hard to achieve my dream
Still so far away, it definitely seems
I am confused and numb
God I feel alone and dumb
Will never be good enough for my dream
