The Election approaching...2016

The election approaching, as one would guess.
The Democrats are leading according to the press.
The voters, upset with Obama's administration,
Want a new direction for this, our beloved nation.

The Republican candidates all looking to win,
Belittling each other, it's really a sin!
On national TV and also prime time,
There was plenty of mud and also slime!

But, one candidate made it, I am happy to say...
Donald Trump is his name and he is on his way!
He wants to be President of this mismanaged land,
He is asking all voters to give him a hand!

The Primary voters in big numbers came
And cast their vote in Trump's name.
The others, grumbling, had left the scene
Most were upset, and some real mean!

America needs to change we all agree,
Under President Donald Trump leadership we will see.
The borders closed; the jobs coming back
And ISIS, all over, under attack!

The Justice Department, strict, but to all fair,
Chris Christie's office would be right there.
He would do the job as best as he could;
I worked in New Jersey, I know him, he is good!

Trump is a hard worker, with determination,
So let's give him a chance to fix this rundown nation.
We need to support him, I totally agree...
And shortly, a GREAT AMERICA we'll see!
