All Her Good and All Her Bad

jmorales1843

Through thick and thin,
Under you, I choose to live.

Take all her good with all her bad,
And let traditions pass.

Through the ends of time, through the blurring of lines,
May dark days never overtake your shine.

You gave me chance,You gave me hope,
You gave my children a home to grow.

And although serpents may emerge,
To stir up your words.

Old faithful banner, please hold for mine,
Do not let slanders change one single line.

Experiences may vary, And the mass will bury,
Any reasons to unite,
For there is no story without no fight.

So Let us pray for a revelate,
Of true words,without any hesitate.

May we accept this land is not perfect,
But oh lord is it worth it.

Our leaders are splitting our men,
This is why together we shall stand.

Rather than kneeling and taking sides,
Civil war is exactly what is on the minds,
Of the authors who drew the lines,
For self recognition to rise.

Not one race is singled out for shame,
Although we only see certain ones pains.

Her best selling bad is rather shown,
Over the fact that she gave us all a home.

She is not good enough to promote?
I ask you then,Where else would you rather go?

The world deals dreadful hands,
No matter where you stand.

But best believe that she is the high card,
America the great, with all her good, and all her bad.

WELCOME JM "God Bless America" but only as long as America continues to Bless God. You are a ta cross roads with the Race Riots ~ Trade threat from China and the East and the proliferation of Nuclear Powers. I also think your Gun Laws belong i the 18th C not the 21st C. I am from the UK but very interested in US History & Politics. I think TRUMP would make America more isolationist and xenophobic. America was and is a great Country but its democracy is under threat. Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN

Seems all the great republics last only a few hundred years before overtaken by division and greed.
      Well put.
