Next time, at the end of a meeting, say:
“Thank you for your time and attentiveness”
They may give you time, but not the mind.
Sometime I wonder what would happen if we could see the bubbles of our thoughts and neurons’ knots.
We may smile or be embarrassed of the gap between behavior, thoughts and talks.
Attentiveness is hard to find these days. Miscommunication grow
Either you lack it , someone else, or both.

Paying attention is so rare in some cases today. It is good if we can get back into the habit. Great write
we are not attentive to our non attentiveness - that is the problem - our minds go into our memories and imaginative scenarios automatically and leave in blank the real time perception of what's going on...thank u Tony:)
Welcome
Something I have to be very careful of. My wife catches me at it all the time. "Where are you?", she will ask. I really have to focus and stay in the moment, and with the person I am with rather than drifting off.
🙂 no matter what motivates you Augustus
