Secret Identity of a Roadman

Charlesmia1

A being’s most trustworthy companion and the most prodigious fear in this world is light. Light is the shear exposure of one’s authentic self.  As lightness ends, darkness becomes the face of lie. This constant struggle and battle between light and darkness is fought until the last breath. Darkness shouldn’t be seen as a forceful face rather a portrayal of one’s self to this world. This mention of lightness and darkness isn’t a reflection on the twenty-four hour cycle or the radiant output of a source rather an individuals mind.

  • Comment from author about the poem: I'm not a writer, I don't even know what I'm doing writing poems but I felt like I needed to share this to the world to get an opinion on it. My identity will be kept hidden as in the case anyone found out I do this, let just say it wouldn't be pleasant so please do give me constructive criticism.

WELCOME CHARLES ~ Thanks for an intriguing first poem on the pros and cons of light and dark. There is the exposure and beauty of the visible spectrum (R O Y G B I V) and the inner spectrum of conscience. There is ~ as you say ~ a constant battle between light & dark. It was and ever will be thus ~ Yours BRIAN
