Gave in slowly to emotions and feelings unrequited
Coldly pushed aside
Feelings that retired from my heart
I fell in love with someone else
And programmed my heart only for that person
But that someone fell in love with someone else
Hurting painfully only for that person
Controlled by powerful feelings
Shutting down all contacts
I fell in love with someone else
But i was only a side piece
A leftover
I fell in love with you but you were in love with someone else

WELCOME ANNIE ~ Thanks for a well structured poem ~ but with a sad content. I'm 33 and still not married so I an expert at "Falling in and out of Love" and losing someone ~ who i might have married ~ because they "fell in love with someone else".. I have a GF of 28 and currently we are in love with each other and (as far as I know) not in love with somebody else ! However Love is vulnerable and it could all change tomorrow ! Your poem made me think ~ thanks for sharing ! Yours BRIAAN
THANK YOU FOR THE WELCOME BRIAN - i am glad that you liked my poem because it was my first publish and usually i just write them to people i love and care for as either gift or how i feel about them and im glad it made you think. I will tell you the truth this poem is about my personal life and i think this poem did well because i got out of school and just decided on writing it which turned out great. I will do my best with upcoming poems and hope you read and like them and thank you again for the welcome
