HALLOWEEN and Mardi Gras in masquerade
Carnival in Venice wearing masks
Silks and Satins beautifully made
Or dressed as HARLEQUIN in every shade
When we get the invitation ~ Fany Dress
We groan and say "Who can we represent ?"
Elvis ~ Spaceman ~ Micky Minnie Mouse
Politicians from our famous House of Parliament ?
Tarts and Vicars that's an easy one
Ghosts and Ghoulies ~ good for Halloween
I never win first prize with my costume on
My Wonky Willy looked quite good in his Irish Green !
Pop Stars ~ Film Stars ~ Kings & Queens and Popes
Big list to choose from ? It is infinite !
I do try hard each year ~ and raise my hopes
Gorilla suit or Harlequin ? Be all right on the night !

I love MASQUERADE PARTIES because I can assume an ALTER EGO and be Elvis or Donald Duck for a night or completely incognito behind a mask ! My favorite is HARLEQUIN because it is so so colorful and like a technicolor ONESIE ! BRIAN XOX

why do we need masks when we change our images nonstop...
Good question SWEETHEART there is truth in your riposte. I have images for work (different on for when I'm teaching Science to the Beauty Therapists rather than the Motor Mechanics !) an image for when I'm visiting my Mum and another one when I'm escorting a Lady ! BUT in essence these are all masks that I wear weak by weak. The masks at the Carnival in Venice and the Mardi Gras may have a more unterior motive ? Perhaps Perhaps Perhaps ?
