Was Him

Was Him

I miss him,

I miss the way he used to say sweet little things,

I miss the way he used to go around calling me cute little names,

I miss the way I called him Babe.

I miss him,

I miss the way he could make me smile at almost anything,

I miss the way he would reply to my texts again and again,

I miss the way he would tell me things he had never told anyone before,

I miss the way he would hug me tight.

He would text me hearts and kisses all through the night,

and on that very last day it broke my heart,

But now he has changed,

and because of him so have I,

He made me feel great but now he has gone,

I miss him,

I miss the way that it was.

WELCOME INDIA ~ Thank you for a very beautiful and yet poignant first poem. I'm 33 and I had people come and go in my life who were very very important so i can empathise. Thanks for sharing ~ I trust you found it cathartic ~ it made me sad. Yours BRIAN.

Wow an appealing missing u love poem written very nicely. Thumbs up. Premarital love is short lived many times as I have observed coz breakup is way easier.

Pls do check out my poem too. I'm a new poet here but have been writing poetry since years and acknowledged for it elsewhere until I found this site and wish to make new poem pals.
