Women Are People Too

iamwoman

Women are people too,

Not to be treated any other way,

They have feelings like everyone else,

And they have a lot to say.

I as a woman resent the fact,

That a candidate has so little class,

He says such horrible things,

And he acts just like an ass.

He doesn't think before he talks,

And it's really hard to believe,

That he wants to represent America,

And it makes me want to leave.

So you ladies out there think twice,

Is this who we really need?

Or do we want a cadidate,

Who treats women right and can lead.

  • Comment from author about the poem: This poem is very special to me. Women are people and all men should treat them as such. The name calling and classifying women is so wrong and all men should respect women for who they are--------beautiful women!!!!!!!

WELCOME MY LADY ~ Hillary is a LADY and I've never heard her degrade her own sex (except perhaps those who seduced Bill ? !) Trump is a chump who the Republicans should DUMP ! Personally (if you read my poems) I am a great supporter of Ladies. I believe GOD took a long hard look at ADAM (inside & out) and thought I CAN DO A LOT BETTER THAN THAT. This is why in the UK we have had a QUEEN for 64 years and we are on our SECOND Female Prime Minister (PRESIDENT) Theresa May ! Thanks for rejecting TRUMP ! Yours BRIAN

Helen Reddy at it's best...lol Most people these don't know who this is, but I here your message. A very heartfelt and political poem mixed together, very nice! P.S. Helen Reddy was popular when 8-tracks were popular, many folks don't know this either...
