- Comment from author about the poem: I have mentioned before that because we don't have THANKSGIVING in the UK ~ Christmas is our special WINTERFEST so we start our preparations in OCTOBER. It is of course a SPIRITUAL FESTIVAL ~ God became Man and dwelt among us ~ We beheld his GLORY ~ full of GRACE and TRUTH. Christmas Carols are among the best loved Hymns in the UK ~ we have hundreds ~ translated and sung in many many different languages to the same tunes. Many (such as Silent Night) were originally written in Latin ~ German ~ French etc ~ Thanks for visiting ~ Love BRIAN XXX (Under the Mistletoe !)

Thanks "A" ~ We have avoided HAPPY HOLIDAY in the UK so far and we do get the opportunity to sing CAROLS in the Street and the Supermarkets etc ~ BUT ~ We only have SPIRITUAL POSTAGE STAMPS every other year. I noticed in the USA in the usa you have tio state the ARTIST and the ART GALLERY so the stamp counts as a work of ART not as a RELIGIOUS EMBLEM> A secular

Christmas is my favorite time of year and for me that is all year long. I love this poem. Good job.
