Darkness

Eternal darkness,
Consumed my soul,
Slowly devouring the light,
Leaving behind darkness everywhere it goes,
Tormenting it slowly and painfully,
Showing no mercy for the light,
Hatred,
Striking without notice,
Attacking without fear,
The attacks never end,
Till their goal is achieved,
Every heart full of dark,
And all the light is consumed by darkness.

    Thanks BV ~ for a very Dark an Gothic poem which reminds us that there is a DARKNESS in the WORLD today which we must all face ! I won't mention TRUMP and his ilk ~ who seem to have no respect for LADIES. There is a light that shines in the Darkness (related to CHRISTMAS) and the Darkness can never ever extinguish it !
