FOOD OF THE MONTH

BRIAN & ANGELA

JANUARY ~ Always we are willy nilly 

Sweet potatoes topped with CHILLI 

FEBRUARY ~ Ice (not nice) ~ snow in a flurry

Warm me up with a red hot CURRY

MARCH ~ Forget all about the calorific Starch

My stomach dreams ~ Baked Potato ~ HEINZ baked beans

APRIL ~ I regret no BBQ's it's much too wet

Nothing finer ~ Fries & a Big Mac at the Diner.

MAY ~ Spring has sprung and I'm still young

This is what I like to do SIZZLIN' STEAKS on the BBQ

JUNE ~ Summer she can't come to soon

Lovin' eatin' all al-fresco ~ bag of GOODIES fresh from TESCO

JULY ~ Summer rushes by ~ Picnics fishin' with a fly

No doubt ~ taste of a wood cooked fresh caught TROUT ! 

AUGUST ~ Come she must ~ leaves are fallin' turn to rust

Make the most ~ al fresco Summer ~ KFC and mine's a drummer

SEPTEMBER ~ Summer lovin'  I remember

With a Pasta I will charm her ~ Proseco & HAM CARBONARA 

OCTOBER ~ Christmas shopping trips ~ wrap me up with FISH & CHIPS

If at the market you might freeze ~ Hot PORK PIE and MUSHY PEAS !

 NOVEMBER ~ Bonfire Night (5) ~  SAUSAGE & MASH  ~ Thanksgiving

Pumpkin Pie and TURKEY  ~ American Foodies 4000 calorie bash

DECEMBER ~ Party time and the whole Earth ~ celebrates the Saviour's Birth

Plum Pudding ~ TURKEY ~ wine galore ~ Push the boat out ~ PETITS FOURS

After CHRISTMAS we have lots of CURRIES & SWEET & SOUR & TAGINES to eat

the rest of the 20 pound TURKEY ~ too much for six on CHRISTMAS DAY ~ AMEN

          THANKS "A" ~ So pleased you like MUSHY PEAS ~ LEEDS MARKET ~ Very col day in December order "Pie n' mushy peas" The Lady takes a soup dish cuts a warm pork pie into eight peices ~ covers it with hot mushy peas ~ sprinkles with mint sauce and serves with a fork and a crusty roll ! Even the BISHOP of Leeds was in the queue ~ Food of th Gods ! BRIAN

            THANKS CHRISSY ~ Pleased you're a foody. JUNE is great for BBQ's in the UK ! We do have ethnic foods ~ Bangers & Mash (England) Haggis (Scotland) Soda Bread (N.               Red hot curry wow that's my cup of tea, noh, curry I guess, though I love food spicy yet not toooooo hot. Enjoyed this some of it exotic cuisine, yummy mouthwatering poem indeed. Itink I read from u before.
