Pain

Pain.

Pain in my head, pain in my mind, brain deteriorating slowly one piece at a time, you can see the pain in my lifeless eyes, stuck on a lifelong grind, how can I search for something that I can't find, it's like I'm blind, I guess this is the way my life's designed, the way it's supposed to be, but it's hurting me, this pain inside comes back to my head yearly I call it anniversary, when is my life going to get some diversity, it's leaving me in uncertainty, now I've got a cold heart for eternity, in need of help urgently, but know one helps which is absurdity, they just sit back an watch observantly, people don't understand this is happening universally, I'm stuck in a countless life of adversity but no one cares, stand on your own two feet and shed no tears, pain is something that can't be heard by ears, mind in need of repair, whys life so unfair to leave people at the bottom of the stairs, the pain just reappears again and again, it's beyond my ken, so I write my pain with a pad and a pen, and laugh about it like a comedian, I hope my pain doesn't pass to my next of kin, life full of every sin, I can't understand why it's happening, soul keeps on blackening, it's got me panicking, it's not just me its damaging, it's saddening to see, will I make it through life is not a guarantee, but it depends on my decisions so that is up to me, myself and I, you can't just sit back and let yourself die, you can't just sit here and start to cry and ask yourself why, get back up, spread your wings and start to fly, let your mind purify and this pain will nullify, your still just a cocoon growing into a butterfly, if your life's falling apart don't just stand there idly by, we've got to come together and unify to keep our minds occupied, because there's so much more pain in the world, not in just you and I.

WELCOME UNKNOWN ~ A very elegant poem bursting with rhyme and rhythm ~ posted in "prose form". It commences quite BLACK but as we reach the denouement there is light at the end of the poem ! "We've got to come together and unify to keep our minds occupied". Poetry is cathartic and a problem shared is a problem halved ! Thanks for sharing more please ! Please check my poems ~ Thanks ~ Yours BRIAN
