Thoughts on love

Christina8

"It is what it is."says Love

"This is insane!" says Reason

"You'll regret it!" says Caution

"It'll cause you pain!" says Fear

"This is ridiculous!" says Pride

"It could end badly!" says Experience

"I'll be left in pieces!" says the heart.

"It is what it is." says Love

I agree with hodgetiger, clever! And thoughtful, thoughts that go through our minds when we deal with others.

THANKS YOU CHRIS ~ For a crisp and concise "Analyse d'Amour" ! Despite all the agony and ecstasy I'm still in the loop. They say love is BLIND but it is also DEAF ! It does not heed: reason ~ caution ~ fear ~ pride or experience ~ Such are its unique sensual and emotional rewards ! Perhaps ~ when all is said and done ~ The most important sense in LOVE is TOUCH ! Thanks for sharing ~ BRIAN ~ BIG HUGS !

The eternal struggle, the head and the heart. You capture it exact and in all its confused bliss.
                        Wonderful poem!
