DONALD THE ELEPHANT ~ Packed his trunk
Set off for Political Circus ~ Off he went
With a Trumpetty Trump ~ Trunmp ~ Trump ~ Trump
The CLOWNS they all adored him ~ He was one of them
But the HORSES and the DONKEYS
Thought he's just like other men
He might be strong ~ but his trunk's too long
Unfit to lead ? Well I might be wrong !
DONALD THE ELEPHANT ~ Packed his trunk
And set off to Political Circus !

HILLARY DONKEY ~ Packed her bags
Set off for Political Circus ~ Off she went
With a HE and a HAW ~ HE HE HAW !
The CLOWN thought she was funny
But she didn't make them smile
The ELEPHANTS waved their trunks are her
And the DONKEYS brayed that she had STYLE !
Unfit to lead ? Well she does have EMAIL guile !
HILLARY DONKEY ~ Packed her bags
And set off for Political Circus.

How any self-respecting Lady can vote for Trump is beyond belief. The same is rue of the Hispanics and Afro-Americans. I try not to be political online, because of the grief it can fetch for myself and others, and because poetry is a thing that should be above such things as partisan squabbling.
But I can't deny, America has become a circus of late. Hope Hillary wins.

As a student of American Politics I am surprised that too Candidates ~ both with so much baggage and so hated for different reasons ~ have managed to become the two Front Runners for the two major parties !
