Broken

BlueiBlondie

Secrets of a child,

no one wants to see.

A loss of innocence,

that was taken from me.

A betrayal of trust,

I once had in them.

That trust is broken,

It'll never happen again.

Hiding this secret,

too ashamed to tell.

Fooling everyone,

and even fooling myself.

Unsure of how this happened,

or how it began.

I try to forget,

but end up fooling myself again.

THANKS FOR SHARING ~ BLUEI ~ It is cathartic to share on a loving site like MPS we all care for you ! It made me cry and ashamed to be a MAN. Child Abusers really have no conception of the lifelong damage they cause and (if male) should be immediately castrated. Children are innocent and it echoes in your final Stanza ~ You really do have no idea how and why it happened and you never will. It was not your fault. Thinking of you and praying for you that God will help you to break free from the consequences of your experience ~ BRIAN
