The Friend In You

keeara45

Keep your pain to yourself
Don't wear it on your sleeves
Cause friends is the ones that always deceive
They smile in your face
And take down notes
Tear you down
In the moments of hurt
The devil can come
In all forms and all hours
Don't think cause their with you
They won't be the reason you shatter
Be mindful of wolves
Who come in sheep clothing
Lucifer betrayed God
I knew he was hurting
In a world full of evil
Envy
And greed
The best friend is in you
If you just believe

Very nice. I can certainly relate with this. There are many wolves. Keep writing.

Yeah true not everybody can be trusted with our pain. This poem is unique and the phrasing is apt and wonderfully employed. Kudos.

Pls do comment out my latest poem too. I'm quite a new poet here but have been writing poetry since years and readers enjoyed it elsewhere or got sth from it until I found this site and wish to make new poem pals.
