CHILD in the manger ~ Infant of MARY
Outcast and stranger ~ LORD of us all
CHILD who inherits ~ All our transgressions
All our demerits ~ Did on HIM fall
Once the most holy ~ Child of Salvation
Gentle and lowly ~ Lived here below
Now as our glorious ~ Mighty Redeemer
See Him victorious ~ over each foe !
Prophets foretold Him ~ Infant of wonder
Angels behold Him ~ High on His throne
Worthy our Saviour ~ of all their praises
Happy for ever ~ JESUS IS LORD ~ AMEN

This poem examines the paradox between who JESUS is
The Eternal Son of God and the way in which he was perceived
and treated by man during his 33 years of Earthly Ministry.

- Comment from author about the poem: For many of us the commercialisation of Christmas comes too early and the deep spiritual significance of the INCARNATION gets drowned in the tinsle and tissue paper. This is why I am posting a Christmas Hymn ~ each week ~ to redress the balance ~ OK ! Love BRIAN XOX

Great write
Thanks TONY ~ I knew you would enjoy anything that Glorifies our Saviour JESUS ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN
Welcome
Well done! Great meter. Wonderful content! I wish they would put back the Christ back in Christmas, now we are just told "Happy Holidays"! Hugs in spirit--Christina
Thanks CHRIS ~ I posted this one especially for you ~ I knew you would love it ! In some ways America is a paradox. In the past you have produced great Evangelists like Billy Graham who influenced the whole World and yet you have to be so so balanced and covert about Christianity ! Without CHRIST there is no CHRISTMAS ! Your CHRISTMAS STAMPS are secular and the one Spiritual One has to be "A Work of Art" with the Artists Name on and the US Art Gallery so it is not overtly Christian ! I love th one I posted with the poem ~ Beautiful Mary and a Great Baby Jesus. May be GOD is giving you the PRESIDENT you deserve ~ after TUESDAY (whoever wins) You really will have to TRUST IN GOD ~ AMEN ~ HUGS BRIAN
Well, thank you, I'm honored. Yes, pray for us on tuesday! But thanks that was sweet, I love Christmas! Hugs back Christina
This is extremely well done.
P.S. I'm surprised that the stamp has not been banned in the US. Everything else about Christmas, Christ, the Bible, commandments etc. Is banned from public places.
