Our super moon lit the skies and prowled
Causing some to fit, others to growl,
Altering farmer's crops, fisherman's tides,
Hospital admits and spiritual guides.
My dear friend sensing something afoul,
Breathed in deeply and began to howl.

WE ARE ALL LUNATICS "A" Because the MOON affects us all more than we realise. The MOON is not there by chance it was created specifically by GOD t o provide light at night ~ move the tides and influence fertility of animals ect.. It is much bigger and closer than normal Moons because GOD created it that way ~ AMEN ~ BRIAN
I forgot to mention, my oldest son posted the photo he had taken that night on Facebook. Interesting, i have been very aware of God in nature, in the heavens, but have not made that association with the moon.
Very well done! It is true about hospital admits whenever the moon is full. As a nurse, never did figure that out. Thanks for sharing. Christina
Jury may still be out on that. My ER nurse friend anecdotally believes so. Makes sense when you think about large cisterns of fluid in the brain. (Other bodies of water are affected.)
Awesome write
Thanks Tony.
Welcome
we can't be indifferent to the moon.
lovely Augustus
Thanks for reading and commenting.
I guess we have one more time to see the Super Moon, which is today, Tuesday, Nov. 15. Hope the weather is perfect for it where ever you are. Timely poem!
I believe another in December??? Thanks.
I guess not the same as this one. This one is something like 30% brighter and appearing 14% bigger or closer to the earth. Others are beautiful all the same in my opinion.
brilliantly expressed your love for our moon and the magical motions and adverse connections upon the human mind it has. facinating write Augustus.
Wow! Thanks.
