LIGHT WARRIOR

Notice of absence from LIGHT WARRIOR
I am currently working on more light hearted work after a wonderful year of change . God bless you all..

Self forgiveness

The toughest lesson of all

It becomes too difficult for most to grasp

The fact that we are the ones who are responsible for the times when we rise or fall

The reflections from mirrors that are incorrectly used

The person who we most often abuse is ourselves

We don't want to see

We don't want to feel

We don't want to explain ourselves when our moments of shame have been captured and analyzed

We don't even want to hear our own names, for the first time

Impossible, almost, for us to recognize that what's done is done

Retreating to The Land of the Lost

Getting spun out of our realities to temporarily free ourselves

As the chemicals are worn off and begin to fade away, we slowly become the loaded gun that will eventually be triggered

Ending in an explosion that is too messy to find the chunks of matter that spew forth, falling all over the circumference of our delusions

So, intrusions slowly drive us insane

Each miniscule gradual of the pain reformats so that it can stand tall

To taunt

To linger

To haunt

Then, suddenly, they are loaded with apologies

Begging to be forgiven by anything that will listen,,,

        Welcome

      • kevin browne

most people don't feel any guilt these day of there mistakes. learning about yourself is very important so that at least you understand yourself with clarity rather than listening to others negative vibe remarks. typically 'gay' people suffer immensely with self-reflection and emotions about their own being. a very delicate poem, yet, to be involved with solutions is a must. a good edgy write Tony36.

I try not to feel guilt AT ALL...I just have learned that it does no good to tear yourself up inside over stupid shit...I am gay and I am not one of the ones that you are talking about, although I agree with you on your statement about the "typically gay"...Thank you for reading and for taking the time to share with me your insight...keep reading please and thank you....fINDING THIS site has been very therapeutic to me...The next step is to send out my e-book to different sites that actually pay you 🙂 Ive been writing for a long time...and cant ever see that changing..take care and thanks again
