Repeat

elphaba993

Each poem is a repeat of the last

I have nothing new to say

The problem here is

Nothing helps anymore

Even that beautiful blade

Is failing me

I don't know what to do anymore

Short of ending it all

The cuts used to give me relief

Remind how to feel again

Even if only for a minute

But now it doesn't even do that

I could slice my very soul open

And still feel nothing.

The desire to fight

To keep going

Is missing.

I keep saying the same thing

But no one hears me

I feel like I'm screaming for help

Somebody please help me

But I think I'm talking to myself

No one hears

No one sees

Unless it's themselves

And I'm fading away

Disappearing under this knife

And no one will even notice

Until I'm gone.

Nobody needs to cut or slice themselves. Great write though

Keep writing. It helps the readers too. You're doing a great job on your poetry.

the typical cutter often sends mixed signals and burns bridges behind them scaring folks away. You write a clear message of wanting help.
