True Self Worth

jubilantjessi

Silver penetration, metallic red, bursting bridges
go well together in my head
If I confessed my true...
no don't tell, my evil angle yells
Why me, poor me, oh me, stupid me
Stop your not serious
Oh yes I implore complete your desires
Release the world of your malignant fire
Destruction, mishap, mayhem
But there's so much untold to you
Doesn't matter Sir, Lucifer is in control
Silver penetration, metallic red bursting bridges

will go oh so well in my head.

WELCOME JESSI ~ THANKS FOR YOUR FIRST POEM ~ Very confessional and bursting with self concern. Life is hard today and sometimes piercing and blood letting is the only answer. I work with young students (16 - 25) many of them find relief with alcohol ~ drugs ~ piercing etc or just thinking about it. Perhaps it's all part of growing up ? Thanks for sharing I hope you found it cathartic ~ YOURS BRIAN

Absolutely, this is a nice way to express my emotions no matter how sullen. Drugs and alcohol use to be my relief but I've had to turn to other, more constructive, alternatives such as poetry. May not be the best poem or make very much sence but it makes sence to me and that is all that matters. I hope you enjoyed and thanks for your commentary.
