Thanksgiving Day

Nicholas Gromowski

There are plenty of mighty things in life

does it mean that little moments shouldn't count?

All those huge parties and holidays

make us forget our yesterdays

Then comes a day like Thanksgiving

A day to enjoy our standard of living

So thankful that my heart is beating, otherwise I would be greiving

So thankful for my family tree

they teach me how to be filled with glee
