Precious

P.H.Rose

The most precious thing in life isn't silver or gold,
Its not a wad of cash in our pockets that we fold.
Nor a beautiful palace with walls wide and high,
Or the most expensive car that money can buy.
It's not a huge diamond that sparkles so bright,
Or a luxury cruise ship sailing quietly at night
The very poorest of us can have an awful lot,
The very richest among us a virtual empty pot.
Don't waste it on arguments, trouble and strife,
spend it on your loved ones, your kids and wife.
You cannot buy it,you cannot trade it,
And neither can you stop it...because,
When it's gone, it's gone.....
Spend it wisely...don't waste a second.
What's the most precious thing in life ??
                TIME .xxxxxx
At 18 it's all in front
              At 40 it's along side
              At 70 it's nearly gone
              At 90 I'm done........
