Love is a feeling you get from someone
When they decide that you are worth something
It is usually expressed by a loved one
But on special occasion a lover comes along to give you the feeling
I'm so glad that I happened to get stuck with you one day
Because if i didn't who knows what we'd be today
You came into my life in the blink of an eye
And put a mark on my heart instead of passing it by
I don't understand why I fell so fast
But i don't care if we're together at last
I know I can be a lot to handle most of the time
But it means so much knowing you're there full-time
How I got so lucky, i'll never know
But loving you is one of the greatest treasures i've ever been shown
So you ask me what is love?
I tell you it's simple!
Love is love
And you're my perfect example
