Untitled #17

StellarSkies

I find it irritating

How I cannot find the words

To formulate the beauty

And ecstasy

I feel in my chest

When I'm met

With your peering eyes

As they attempt to uncover

The affection I feel for you

You can undress me all you want

Peel off every layer of clothing

Strip me bare

Taste the sweet anticipation on my skin

But don't stop there

Feast on my naked soul

Accept me, clad of the disguise

I wear, for fear you'll wince

But I have all to offer you

I owe you my best self

So wrap me up in your warm embrace

It's been cold for far too long

WELCOME STELLAR ~ Thank you for an elegant first poem. When we are totally in love it is often impossible to find appropriate words. However in your sensuous Poem you present yourself ~ all you are ~ all your have and all you feel. I like that because it is so so TOTAL "But all I have I offer you ~ I owe you my best self" I would surely respond to your request "So wrap me up in your warm embrace ~ It's been cold for far too long !" Thanks for sharing ~ more please. Yours BRIAN
