My Sorrows

Christina8

I worry about things that won't affect today

And think about all the tomorrows

If only I could just live in the moment

I think it'd take away most my sorrows

I will focus on what God has

blessed me with and not wallow

I want to take the path where

Others have been and follow

the hard road, the one

barely taken at all

Still part of me worries that

I'll trudge along, slip and fall

No more worry or sorrow

Just trust in God from here

He'll take me where I need to go

The road to no more fear

    Nice one Christina!
living in the moment must be the masters scheme, for yesterday is just a memory and tomorrow but a dream. ww

Isiah 41:10 says "Do not be afraid, for I am with you. Do not be anxious for I am your God. I will fortify you, yes, I will help you. I will really hold on to you with my right hand of righteousness." Though, from moment to moment, the fears from within and the struggles we face on the out make it hard not to be afraid. We all get trapped by worry sometimes, especially when the present moment presents difficulties...but each day is sufficient for its own anxiety! All we can do is focus our efforts, one day at a time, on what is within our control. Let go of the rest. BEST WISHES! We are on the same journey. HEALTH HAPPINESS AND LOVE

              So farewell mademoiselle,
              knickerbocker Hotel
              farewell to money owed
but when your leg still hurts
              and you need more shirts
you got to get back on the road.
